Raleigh LOVES to watch the TV and computer screen. Though we don't want him to get "comfortable" watching TV, it is still funny to see and sometimes, helps us accomplish our daily tasks (laundry, eating breakfast, etc). It's amazing what you can accomplish in 5 minutes when you really need to!

Friends and family....sorry I have been so slack with the posting this week. I am usually on top of my game with the camera always in hand but it has been a trying week! It looks like Mr. Raleigh is suffering from acid reflux. We spoke with the doctor this morning and she agreed that his symptoms sounds right on for reflux (apprently all babies suffer from this but some more than others). The symptoms include frequent spitting up, irritability when feeding, eating only small amounts at a time, sudden crying when eating, arching the back while feeding, "wet" burps, frequent hiccups, and poor sleep habits with frequent waking. Poor sweet pea.

He was sleeping for 4 hour stretches but since this week has gone back to 1-2 hours at a time. She called us in some medication and has also asked us to put rice cereal in his milk which is supposed to help. We have his 2 month check up on Monday morning so we will revisit the situation with the doctor then. The lack of sleep has definitley taken a toll on Mama and Papa but more importantly, we want Raleigh to feel better.
