Well, here we are....two months old! We had our 2 month check up this morning and Mr. Raleigh now weighs 10 lbs 7 oz! Holy cow. I thought he felt a lot heavier and my arm muscles sure did too! Raleigh is 23 inches long (53rd percentile) which is 2 whole inches longer than one month ago. He is in the 22nd percentile for weight and the 27% percentile for head circumference. That is a huge jump from last month where his weight was only in the 11th percentile and height in the 31st percentile. His doctor said he is "long and lean". Just like Papa I guess!
The medicine seems to be working for his acid reflux. The last few nights he has sleep in 4 and 3 hour increments. So happy about that! He also doesn't seem to be in pain when he is eating. We are to keep an eye on his reflux and if it persists then he will be prescribed a stronger medication. For now, we are happy with the results.
In this picture above, Raleigh is showing off the sweatshirt that Nana bought him for Christmas. Nana, I swear he likes it....he was just hungry here!

Now that Raleigh is big enough to hold his head up we have begun to use the Jeep carrier more with him facing outward. It is fanstastic! Great buy Nona! As you can see, it allows us to have two free hands to get things accomplished while still spending time with the sweet pea.
Raleigh fell asleep. I wish someone would carry me around in one of those things all day.
I'm sure some of you are wondering why my child is always wearing a darn bibb in all of the photos! Well, because of the reflux he spits up ALL DAY LONG. If he didn't wear a bibb than I would have to change his outfit about every 5 minutes. The guy who invented the bibb deserves to be a millionaire. If he isn't....he's definitely going to heaven.
