Since most of you are in lands far, far away, Devlin and I thought the best way to keep you all informed and up-to-date on Little Levin was to create this blog. We hope you enjoy!

Memorial Weekend- 6 1/2 Months!

A little Kentucky lovin first thing in the morning! Kentucky is very protective of the baby. If Devlin gets on the ground with him and growls and bites at Raleigh's tummy, Kentucky does not like it! She circles and gives warning growls to Devlin letting him know she is not happy with him messing with the baby! Sierra on the other hand does everything she can to ignore our new addition. She's super jealous.

Raleigh is certainly growing fast! I think he looks like me. Devlin thinks he looks like him.

Here he is trying to crawl. He gets up on all fours but then sort of gives up after a few seconds. He mostly drags himself across the floor using his elbows!

The famous face plant!

Day two of swim class! Mama was just trying to get a good shot of my mossy colored eyes. She's so silly.

Daddy helping to get Raleigh excited about swim class. He was a bit grumpy because he fell asleep in the car on the way there and didn't want to wake up.

They brought out the life jackets for week two of swim class. I was worried Raleigh wouldn't have it because he hates to be strapped into things, but he seemed OK.

Talking to Daddy. Wonder what he's saying?

And here we go....

Kick those feets!

Look at me Mama!

We hadn't put his life jacket on properly and the swim teacher had to show us what we did wrong. Whoops!

This life jacket tastes like chlorine.

He got a little fussy in the life jacket and then got fussy in general.

I took him out of the pool to try and ease his fussiness with a quick bottle....

Backfire! The child fell asleep in the middle of swim class, wet bathing suit and all!

There was no waking him!

We just let him sleep and watched the other kids having fun....

Still sleeping 15 minutes later....

and sleeping.........

When we came home from swim class, Raleigh finally perked up for some green beans....that nap must have done him good!

Then we had our friends Rob and Emily brought over a bunch of blue crab. I made an oyster roll and Devlin sparked the grill. We had sausage with garlic and bbq corn too. So good!

Here is Rob and Emily....

Devlin being goofy....

We had our video baby monitor with us. It's such a handy piece of equipment. We were able to relax and eat our crabs while looking at the baby sleep in his crib upstairs!
