Check me out!

I tried to get this shot while the boy was NOT in motion (it's still a little blurry)....which is hard to do because he's constantly flipping and rolling around on the thing. Back to tummy, front, side, on my head, on my butt....he ends up across the room! I'm finding it hard to take as many pictures as I would like these days. There are not enough hours in the day to do everything I'd like!

There always seem to be new developments with the boy. He's eating everything from sweet peas to squash to green beans, to sweet pots to carrots. No fruit yet. We are going to start the fruits at 6 months which is 2 weeks away. Raleigh's favorite food so far is green beans, though I wonder if that's because it's the first solid food we had given him, for a week straight I think. Don't get me wrong....he will eat any of the solids you put in front of him (though the peas can be challenging on some days), but green beans are always an easy way to go on a tough day!

Raleigh starts his first "star babies water class" on May 21st. It's basically just a class at the Savannah Aquatic Center that helps to get babies acustomed to the water. Since we are used to going to the beach on most weekends here, we thought it was a great idea. One of the parents is always in the water with the baby and it's mainly just a bunch of splashing around. He LOVES bath time so we are hoping he feels the same way about the star babies class. They try to keep the water at around 86 degrees which should help. Nana bought Raleigh his first swim suit (which resembles a thin wet suit) and his water diapers. I'll be sure to take a bunch of pics!

We are extra proud of Raleigh this week, as he has moved up from Room 1 at daycare to Room 2. In Room 2, the babies have more floor time where they get to roll around and practice crawling. There are also more activities and toys to play with. His current teacher, Ms. NeeNee, says Raleigh was ready for Room 2 since last month and that he is an extremely fiesty, tough and tumble boy. She says the rougher you are with him the happier he is. And she's right! He's turning out to be quite a manly little man. We are very happy with his daycare and Raleigh is always happy when we drop him off, excited to be put in the exersaucer so he can grab at things.

That's all for now. We will keep posting pics as often as possible!
