The Weekend and Khloe's First Birthday

I took this picture at 6am when Raleigh starting to stir. He must have been having a nice dream because he kept smiling and making little giggle noises! I had to snap a pic and I'm glad I caught this moment on film. Of course, he's sleeping in our bed here (we TRY to keep him in the crib but we like to snuggle)

We moved on from rice cereal this week and began green beans. This was his initial reaction to the foreign green substance. He likes them now but it took a day or two. He's getting better at opening his mouth when the spoon comes close. He's a smart little whipper snapper.




Here is Raleigh all snazzed up for his future wife Khloe's first birthday party. We were lucky enough to have 85 degree weather so he was sporting the half naked look complete with his fly fisherman hat.

Poor child. Do you think he'll hate us when he's older?!

Everyone has to get their hands on the new baby! Here is Susan playing airplane with Raleigh. He likes her!

This is Kat. Kat is going to watch Raleigh when he is sick and can't attend daycare. She is a senior at SCAD and also teaches the baby water aerobics classes that we will start attending in May when he is 6 months old.

Still teething pretty good but no chompers yet.

Future daughter in law and birthday girl Khloe. She's into boxes these days, preferably ones from staples.

And here comes the birthday cake.....

Raleigh was wishing he could have his own cake....

Raleigh found a playmate, baby Clark. Clark is only 2 1/2 months old. No, Raleigh is not small, Clark is just BIG! He was 11 lbs when he was born and is in the 99th percentile in height. Wow.
