Well....here we are. My last day before I go back to work and send Raleigh to "school". I'm having lots of mixed emotions on the subject. We've packed his bag and written his name on all of his bottles and belongings. Now I just have to practice NOT crying when I leave him at daycare in the morning! I just know I'll show up to work with puffy eyes and mascara running down my face. Oh well, such is life.
We had a fun weekend of quality time and cuddling. I wanted you all to see the "before" and "after" pictures of Raleigh in his crib. The picture above is Raleigh at 8pm right before bedtime....
This is the position he ended up in at 2am when he woke up for his feeding! I had to run and grab my camera. How does he do that? I have yet to figure that out but I think we are in trouble when he actually starts crawling! He may end up hanging from the ceiling fan or something!
We slept in until 8:30 but Raleigh wanted to give Papa a hug before breakfast.
Look at that bugger hold his head up! We had lunch today outside at Six Pence because it was 74 degrees. The waitress offered us $500 for the baby because he was "so so cute". I countered with $1,000 and even offered a lay away option but that was too rich for her blood. Good thing cause I sure do love him!
I caught a half smile here.
He's definitely filling out....my little chunkie.
Check out that one curl on top of his head! Can't wait to see what his hair does when it really grows out.
