First Smile Caught on Camera! 5 Weeks Old

This was a difficult shot to get! Raleigh started smiling for real earlier this week and I decided to try and catch him in the act. I had the camera in one hand and was tickling his tummy with the other while doing the whole "who's a pooshy pooshy little woo woo woo boo boo bear" thing that all babies love. And I caught it! Honestly, he smiles and coos the most when he's getting his diaper changed! What a difference from the cat scream we used to get when we changed his diaper. I guess he'll keep on a changin'.

Even though Raleigh hit the 8lb mark and is big enough to be carried around in the jeep carrier, we decided he looks really uncomfortable! Maybe he needs to get just a tad bit bigger. But what a cute pic!

I know you all are very familiar with the "milk coma" by now but it's still funny to see....over and over again! The child likes to be upside down. What can I say?

Just getting home from a trip to the grocery. He absolutely loves his car seat. He usually falls right asleep when you put him in it. Sometimes I put him in it just so I can take a shower and not worry about him crying.

And Vladimir Poopkin returns!

"Look deep into my eyes and give me all of the milk in the refridgerator!"

Muahhahahhhhaaaa!

Look at his chunky neck!

Pooped (in more ways than one).
