Raleigh now weighs a whole 7lbs 6 oz! He is right on track with his growth and doing well. Devlin is back at work full time now and I am off until January 31st. It's quite an adjustment going from a full time employee to a full time Mama! Raleigh is not difficult though. When he crys it is because he either needs a diaper change, a burp, or of course, more food! He is starting to have longer periods of time where he is awake and sort of social. He makes eye contact and can turn towards your voice. We can't wait until he smiles (and it's not just gas!). The books say that can happen between 4-6 weeks.
Raleigh's hair is growing too.
Here, he woke up with hat head....
"Um....can somebody fix my hair please? Yeah, that part right in the back there that's sticking up?"
"OK, now I'm getting upset! Can somebody PLEASE fix my hair?"
"FIX.........MY.........HAIR!"
"Nevermind, I'll just take another nap and maybe it will fix itself."
"Snoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooore"
"Did it work? Is my hat-head gone?"
"Whose handsome now?! Me! I'm handsome!"
"OK, give me my food"
"Much better...."
Daria, you have strong italian genes! I knew he was gonna look like you. The pic where he's pouting and the caption reads "Did it work, is my hat-head gone" looks JUST LIKE YOU! I've seen you make that face a million times! How cute he is! Ya'll look like you're having a lot of fun. Miss you guys.
