Since most of you are in lands far, far away, Devlin and I thought the best way to keep you all informed and up-to-date on Little Levin was to create this blog. We hope you enjoy!

33 Weeks 4 Days

Everytime I buy a new HUGE t-shirt, it doesn't fit the next week!

Wow! I can't believe we are so close to the finish line! I was hoping the last trimester would fly-by like most people say but I am finding it to crawl by ever so slowly! Probably because a good night sleep is far and few between due to my general uncomfortable-ness! I am always tired and always hungry! Raleigh J however is doing great! He should be around 4.5 lbs this week. He is very, very active. The doctor says that we should keep track of his movements because most likely, his awake/sleep patterns will be similar as a newborn. If that is true than we are in trouble! This kid is awake ALL THE TIME! Who do I have to blame for that one?!

Devlin has been great about keeping up with my food cravings. Even when I wanted pancakes for dinner the other night. I guess I better take advantage since we will be homebound for a while. Last night we went to the Savannah Jazz Festival at forsyth park. It was a blast! Check out the pics....

I think most people go to Jazz Fest for the food, not the music! Most people bring their folding chairs, blankets, and picnic tables and set up a spread so fantastic that people end up walking around to see what other people have brought to eat! Here we have pate, sopreseta, stuffed peppers, mozzerella, garlic, tapenade, fresh french and italian bread, gorgonzola and gouda cheese, two kinds of pasta salad, crab dip....and we bought a funnel cake for dessert. The food was sooooooooooo good.

Here we are, all comfy in our chairs listening to the Savannah Jazz Orchestra.

Here are our partners in crime for the evening, Kirsten, Blair, and Raleigh's future wife, Khloe.

Here is the view from our seats. Look at all the people attending....some people even brough candleabras for their tables!

Here is the orchestra up close.

  1. You don't look big at all in this pic. In one of the previous posts you looked like you were getting a lil bootie, but not in this pic. Raleigh is getting big. What's the "J" stand for? Are you telling?

  3. The "J" stands for Joseph after my Dad (Joseph Kirk) and my grandfather (Grandpa Joe).
