Since most of you are in lands far, far away, Devlin and I thought the best way to keep you all informed and up-to-date on Little Levin was to create this blog. We hope you enjoy!

Almost 14 weeks!!

Holy moly my belly is GROWING! I feel pretty normal until I look at a picture! Wow! Can you say BIG belly already? I've gained six pounds so far but I guess it's all in the belly. My pants still fit but are getting very, very snug. I had to order my first maternity pants for work the other day. That was an interesting experience! I'll let you know how hard I cry when I actually try them on :) We went to the beach today for the first time this season. I swear people were staring at me because they thought I was fat! It looks like I ate a whole ham and it's just sitting in my belly! Speaking of ham, food aversions are getting better. I'm back to wanting salads and veggies but still can't stomach chicken or fish. Yuck. Icecream, any flavor is fantastic. Our freezer looks like Baskin Robbins! I do make sure to eat all of the "healthy" items throughout the day that I'm supposed to but don't mess with me and my icecream once it hits 8pm! Devlin and I have been sticking with the exercise routine. We spend a lot of time riding the bikes around town and also walking around the park. After speaking with a few friends who have had children, I've decided to do prenatal yoga. It's surprisingly cheap and is supposed to be great for stretching and preparing the muscles for labor. Hmmmm....scary thought. On a lighter note, we are definitely going to find out the sex of the baby on May 27th. If you haven't already, make sure you vote on the gender! Only a few more weeks to go for this particular milestone. Oh, and all of our end of the first trimester tests came back completely normal.

  2. You look beautiful! But I must admit it is a little weird thinking of you buying maternity pants - whoa! Have friends that have done the pregnancy yoga and loved it - definitely give it a try:) Can't wait to rub the belly - yea!
